TECHNICAL NOTES:
Red sweet wine obtained from Brachetto grapes. Brachetto is an autochthonous aromatic red grape, grown only in a very limited area in the provinces of Asti and Alessandria.
Purpurrì is a sweet, aromatic, slightly sparkling red wine with an alcohol content of only 5 degrees.
Its color is light ruby red with pink reflections; its bubbles are fine and persistent.
The scent is intense, aromatic with notes of rose and small red fruits such as wild strawberries.
On the palate the sweetness is well balanced by the acid freshness.
It is advisable to consume this wine young, within a couple of years from bottling, in order to enjoy all the floral and fruity fragrance.
FOOD MATCHES:
Fresh and delicate cheeses, fruit salads or fruit tarts, as a base for many cocktails.
It is pleasant during meals and at any time of the day as well.
